What a beautiful week it was, so lucky to have been there, too. Next time we’ll add some freshly gathered Wellfleet to the mix.

Ptown was the first trip my girlfriend and I ever took together, 7 years ago almost to the date. It’ll always be a special place for us, like it is for so many others. We took the ferry from Boston - the same ferry fleet that travels down to Florida in the winter and takes us across the bay from the city we live in now to Tampa.

Andrea was my poetry professor in college. I think of them and their class often and fondly. Hope everyone is well :)

Re-addressing abandonments feels lovely, I wish I'd had a dose of that with you. There is potency in Provincetown, I love to read about it. I always acknowledge the meetings I make there as the ones that sparkle and last, loved meeting you.

A few years ago, I stayed in Putney, Vermont for a few days in April, and it was exactly as you describe: I walked around trying to drink the air. The sweetness of the air was something I had never before experienced, except possibly when I was a teenager and went to Woodstock, NY for the first time, but that was in the fall, and the air was smokier but also intoxicating.

Also, I'm determined to get to FAWC to study with Joan Wickersham if it's the last thing I do. Every year, she sells out before I can register.

Thanks, as always. Glad you found something like revival and saw some exceptional people. And those roses, good lord!

Man, this is so lovely—it gave that rush of rescue you yourself felt, and gave it so quietly and generously. In blighted times, it’s like the deepest lungful of sweet air. Inspired and grateful to you, Alex.

I love the picture of the roses on the fence and the house behind it. It is so relaxing. The video of the wall of roses was beautiful too. Thank You.
